Constructed of heavy 22oz canvas with hand-stitched leather grips, closure, and badge, and shoulder strap, double stitching throughout, brass rivets, and a waxed canvas bottom, these bags will stand the test of time even under heavy, prolonged use. Indeed, designer Marie Thompson, a recent MassArt graduate, based the Revival Series on Boston Bag’s original tote, an industrial product designed specifically for and sold exclusively to telephone and energy utilities for use on their maintenance trucks, where the bags were secured to the outside of the vehicle for year-round, rain-or-shine service. The COOLEST PART of the Revival Series is that they’re CONVERTIBLE: fold down the top section and handles, and the bag turns into a more compact duffle-style carryall, ideal for summer weekend travel, beach days and picnics.
